About Macmade
Macmade began as a creative outlet during maternity leave with my second child, a time when I was searching for a way to nurture both my passion for design and my growing family. What started as a hobby of creating keepsakes and home décor quickly evolved into a thriving floral design business, where I could explore my love for texture, colour, and form.
With a degree in Design for Textiles, Fashion, and Interior Art, my background in textiles and art has deeply influenced the way I approach floral design, bringing a unique, artistic perspective to each project. Over time, Macmade has grown into a bespoke floral design service, specialising in creating unique, dried florals for weddings and special occasions.At Macmade, our ethos is simple: we place colour at the forefront of our designs, combining passion and a focus on sustainability to create florals that last beyond the wedding day, and memories that endure.

Hi, I’m Mel
I’m the creator and heart behind Macmade. With a background in textile design, I've always been captivated by the beauty of texture and colour, which naturally led me to the world of florals. Dried flowers are the perfect medium for expressing the creativity I adore, and I’m proud to turn that passion into a service that brings joy to couples on their special day.
When I’m not designing bespoke florals, I’m at home raising three young boys, navigating the chaos of family life with a smile (and lots of coffee!). I’m grateful to be able to balance my love for creativity with the demands of motherhood. It’s a journey I’m excited to share with you, and I can’t wait to create something truly beautiful for your wedding.
